| CHRIST has called upon all of us to be missionaries of "the way." If you saw a starving man, would you give him some food? If you saw a sick man, would you help him heal? If you saw a person who did not know "the way" to eternal life, would you keep the truth to yourself? As believers of the way, we should all share the good news. We must commit to do good works for the benefit of our brothers & sisters. We all have busy lives but we can all give of ourselves in some way. Is it too much to ask of ourselves to honor CHRIST and our loving GOD to do at least one good deed of sharing per week? It doesn't even have to be a big deed. There is a simple story which addresses this reality. A man saw his friend and asked how he was. The friend answered, "I am struggling. It feels like I have two big dogs inside me fighting. One dog is good and the other is bad." The man asked his friend, "which dog is winning?" The friend said, "which ever one i feed the most!" Have you fed your good dog today? |
